Buoyant from their success of their 2 newly released CDs on Naxos and New World Records and their recent touring appearances in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Colorado, Illinois, and Texas, the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra is continuing to delight audiences across the country.

Since 1996, the orchestra has performed in 26 states including performances in major metropolitan centers such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, Miami, and Phoenix. Indicative of their many accolades is their recent concert at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, which was proclaimed as the Best Classical Performance of the Year by the Palm Beach Daily News: “Excitement was the key word at the Kravis Center Sunday evening, when the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra presented a fiery program…The audience loved its performance, as evidenced by the shouts heard as the music ended…They recognized that they had heard a very unusual program of familiar and unfamiliar works played with precision and flair by a highly skilled ensemble…This spirited romp was nothing short of breathtaking.”

For the 2009-2010 season, Maestro Daniel Spalding has designed several special touring programs for ensembles of various size that are sure to please the most discriminating audience and meet the needs of your budget. Of particular interest is a unique offering for a 25 piece orchestra of strings, harp, piano & percussion entitled “Music from the Movies,” featuring “Suite from the Red Violin,” the Oscar winning score by John Corigliano and a special arrangement of Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story.”

This is an opportunity not to be missed!
